Apcela’s Director of Solutions Architecture, Hamza Seqqat, introduces the concept of CloudHubs and Apcela’s AppHUBs. A CloudHub consists of racks of switching and routing equipment that are typically deployed in carrier neutral co-location data centers, such as those operated by Equinix and CyrusOne. These data centers are interconnected with high-capacity, low-latency circuits that create a high-performance core network.
Apcela’s AppHUB product offering is an Apcela owned and managed CloudHub service. AppHUB, which stands for Application HUB, accelerates application performance by bringing the applications closer to the end-user and the distributed security environment. AppHUBs are distinguished from the traditional CloudHubs by their highly connected low-latency mesh network that is deployed in 41 countries and 185 markets. AppHUBs can be deployed on-demand, allowing for high-level of agility on the Enterprise side. Read more about our AppHUB offering here.
